Job Description:

Creekside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is hiring an RN Weekend Supervisor who is committed to providing the best life and care for our residents. If you are looking forward to becoming a part of a dynamic team, we would love to meet you!

Job Responsibility:

  • Administrating treatments and documentation
  • Complete assessments to determine the resident’s needs
  • Use health assessment data to determine nursing diagnosis
  • Counsel patient’s family in meeting nursing-related needs
  • All other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing

Requirements:

  • Must have an active Certification as an RN
  • Minimum two years of experience is required
  • Experience as a Unit Manager with supervisory experience in Long Term Care
  • Proficient with IV and Phlebotomy

  • Organizing and scheduling after hours emergent and weekend surgical cases as needed and notifying all necessary staff of procedures
  • Serving as incident commander for all internal/external events as the command center is established and additional leadership is notified
  • Managing internal staff conflicts that arise when Managers/Directors/Vice Presidents are not present on site
  • Ensuring EMTALA guidelines are followed for patient transfers
  • Assessing and monitoring of safety concerns within the organization
  • Escalating concerns that increase the liability of the hospital to the Administrator on call
  • Serves as an example for all staff in regards to professional behaviors and conflict management
