Job Description:

Join a specialized Heart & Vascular Unit as a Telemetry Registered Nurse in Omaha. This fast-paced 49-bed unit cares for cardiovascular patients, including those with stable heart and lung transplants, and Ventricular Assist Devices (LVADs). As a traveler, you'll be the first to float, providing coverage across various units such as 4CS, 5 West, 6 Neuro, and others, all within a high-caliber medical environment. Expect to handle drips on all floors and utilize EPIC charting systems. The schedule is three 12-hour day shifts per week, offering excellent exposure and growth opportunities in medical-surgical cardiovascular nursing.

Job Responsibility:

Provide care on a specialized Heart & Vascular Unit
Care for cardiovascular patients including those with stable heart/lung transplants and LVADs
Float across various units (4CS, 5 West, 6 Neuro, etc.)
Handle drips on all floors
Use EPIC charting systems
Work three 12-hour day shifts per week

Requirements:

Pending licenses accepted
Must travel >100 miles from Omaha
RTO requests up to two weeks
Mandatory holiday coverage
Scrubs mandatory (Steele gray with Nebraska Medicine logo)
EPIC charting proficiency
