As a Clinical Nurse, you will be a central figure in our patient care team, delivering exceptional, compassionate care that truly makes a difference in our patients' lives. Every day you will collaborate on comprehensive screenings, conduct critical risk assessments, provide vital preventative health education, and expertly coordinate care for diverse patient populations, leveraging technology to streamline processes.
Job Responsibility:
Is a role model for the Hospital's Patient Satisfaction effort, i.e. demonstrates AIDET principles when interacting with customers, subordinates and colleagues
Identifies patient with procedure and surgeon by verbalization, chart consent and I.D. band
Determines patient's perception of planned procedure and expected outcome
Identify sensory impairments that affect patient's ability to understand
Identify past and present health problems by checking chart, lab results, EKG, X-ray and H&P
Assess for cardiovascular, renal, respiratory system status
Requirements:
RN license from State of California, upon hire
Enrollment & successful completion into the Periop 101 program (26 weeks) will be considered in lieu of experience
or 1-3 years Minimum one year experience as an O.R. Staff Nurse
