Job Responsibility
Adheres to department and hospital policies and procedures
Administers, oversees and documents medication administration
Assesses patient physical, psychosocial, cultural, behavioral/emotional, developmental and spiritual needs
Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and competence
Documents care delivered and patient status using nursing process
Demonstrates competent professional practice and engages in professional growth
Requirements
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
One to two years Med/Surg experience with completion of Mother/Baby Education program or new graduate with completion of senior practicum in L&D, Mother/Baby unit or nursery
Registered Nurse: WA
Basic Life Support - CPR
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (within 6 months)
