Job Description:

Join a fast-paced ER holding unit in San Diego as a PCU Float Registered Nurse. You'll be working in the emergency room environment, primarily with PCU patients, but also floating to other system-wide PCU units including Hillcrest, Jacobs, Thornton, and East Campus, depending on census needs. This role offers a unique blend of acute care and unit versatility, where your PCU experience with cardiac, LVAD, pulmonary hypertension, and transplant patients will be essential. You'll manage IV starts, telemetry, and phlebotomy procedures while documenting seamlessly in EPIC. Night shifts run 3x12-hour shifts, providing a structured schedule that keeps your weeks clear and allows you to enjoy all that San Diego has to offer.
