RN: PCU/IMC/Stepdown

Join a fast-paced cardiovascular unit in Prescott, Arizona, as an Acute Care RN specializing in cardiovascular and surgical services. This position involves managing patients undergoing procedures like catheterizations, open-heart surgeries, and postoperative care for up to 20 patients in a 14-bed PCU. Expect to operate advanced equipment such as Philips Cardiac Monitors, Welch Allyn Vital Signs Monitors, and Medtronic Pacemakers. Your role includes administering IV cardiac medications, monitoring invasive lines, and providing comprehensive care for patients with complex needs, including chest tubes, epidural catheters, and transvenous pacing. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of PCU experience, EKG knowledge, and required certifications like ACLS and BLS. This assignment offers a 12-hour night shift schedule, floating to ICU and MS/Tele units, with scheduled work of 36 hours per week for 13 weeks, and a weekly gross pay of approximately $1,886.
