Join a reputable medical-surgical step-down unit at a leading tertiary care hospital in Rochester. This 13-week travel assignment offers the chance to work in a 26-bed Intermediate Care Unit, handling adult acute care patients who require close monitoring and specialized interventions. As a Registered Nurse with a NY license, you'll be managing a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 on night shifts, providing critical care skills such as cardiac monitoring, interpreting dysrhythmias, and managing airway support. The role involves charting using EPIC, responding to rapid response and code situations, and administering IV therapy, including peripheral lines. Float requirements mean flexibility across various adult care areas, with a focus on evidence-based, compassionate care delivery.
