RN Operating Room Circulators are an integral part of the surgical team, providing essential nursing care to patients during surgical cases. Their role requires a high level of accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced surgical environment. As an RN Operating Room Circulator, they are responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care during surgery. Their ability to maintain a professional approach while providing nursing care is critical in ensuring positive patient outcomes while keeping patients and their families informed. Job Responsibility:
Providing essential nursing care to patients during surgical cases
Ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care during surgery
Maintaining a professional approach while providing nursing care
Working directly with surgeons, medical/surgical staff and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op
Positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
Active RN license in the state
BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
