Job Responsibility:
Provides professional and compassionate patient care to all age groups
Performs and documents assessments as stated on Patient Care Plan and/or as patient condition requires, i.e. admission system assessment, vital signs, intake and output, ADLs, etc
Ensures health history is completed upon admission using information from the patient or patient’s family
Individualizes Patient Care Plan on admission, and as needed, or every 24 hours to accurately reflect current patient needs
Identifies discharge planning/education needs as early as possible upon admission
Provides patient care, which is appropriate to the patient diagnosis, symptoms, and provider orders, following hospital policies and procedures
Requirements:
Registered Nursing degree from an approved school of nursing
Registered Nurse (RN) Licensed by the state of North Dakota
Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) to be obtained within six (6) months of start date
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six (6) months of start date
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within six (6) months of start date
