Job Description

Take on a rewarding travel Med/Surg RN role at Carlsbad Medical Center, where you'll provide care on a general inpatient surgical unit that handles a variety of medical conditions. This assignment offers a classic 12-hour night shift from 6:30 pm to 7:00 am, with floating and call duties keeping your schedule dynamic. You'll be part of a team managing a patient ratio of 1:6, using MedHost EMR to document your work. Two or more years of experience, along with ACLS and BLS certifications, are required—PALS is preferred but not mandatory. Expect to bring your expertise to a bustling inpatient setting, with the opportunity to explore the charming surroundings of Carlsbad and neighboring attractions. Remember, all NM travelers need fingerprints completed prior to starting, so ensure your agency is registered accordingly. This 13-week assignment promises a steady weekly gross income of approximately $1,820.46, based on 36 hours per week.
