Job Responsibility

  • Collect health data in a systematic and ongoing manner
  • Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and develop patient plan of care
  • Identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care
  • Implement interventions in the plan of care
  • Provide nursing care to meet physical, emotional, spiritual, and social-cultural needs
  • Evaluate patient progress toward attainment of outcomes

  • Evaluate own nursing practice

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 months experience as a RN required
  • >10 months med-surg or acute specialty setting required
  • 1 year RN experience for all Float Positions required
  • Associates or Diploma in Nursing required
  • All Diploma and ADN hires must Complete a BSN within 60 months of hire OR have 5 or more years of Registered Nurse experience at the time of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
  • Registered Nurse (RN) State And/or Compact State Licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Arizona Upon Hire required

Nice to have

  • Bachelors in nursing (BSN) preferred
  • National certification for unit specific patient population preferred
