Job Responsibility

  • Make day to day decisions in meeting staffing needs to meet patient demand for services
  • Facilitate the interview process, hiring management, performance management, competency assessment and development, and counseling of staff
  • Represent nursing in the local clinic leadership and within the departmental service line at the organizational level
  • Direct the business, technical and nursing support activities of a multidisciplinary clinic, by providing leadership to develop and implement strategies and policies to accomplish delivery and growth of services at best possible levels of cost effectiveness and stakeholder satisfaction

Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • BSN or Bachelors’ Degree in a related field is preferred
  • Three years’ experience and clinical knowledge in the same or similar clinical specialty
  • Two years in a charge nurse/ leadership or equivalent position required
  • Clinical knowledge as a Registered Nurse in the same or similar clinical specialty preferred
