Job Description:

The RN Manager, Clinical Health Services will exercise administrative and functional supervision over nursing personnel, execute quarterly objectives and long-term goals, support clinical staff recruitment and retention, provide ongoing development opportunities, and ensure high standards of patient care. This is a full-time, onsite role in Memphis, Tennessee at Oak Street Health, which is committed to transforming primary care and improving patient experience.

Job Responsibility:

Align on a plan to achieve quarterly and annual nursing goals in accordance with regional targets in patient care, quality, and experience
Support the care team nurses with achieving these goals, to meet Oak Street Health’s high standards of patient care
Support the recruitment and hiring of clinical staff
Ensure consistent and comprehensive onboarding for new care team Nurses/MAs/Phlebotomists
Support ongoing nursing development opportunities such as grand rounds, specialized training programs, and annual clinical competencies
Create an engaging culture that inspires commitment, encourages excellence, and strives for equity and inclusion
Monitor and review industry standards and state regulations
Advise regional and central nursing leadership on performance, care outcomes, quality, experience, and employee engagement
Collaborate on implementation of clinical operational standards and processes
Implement and execute new clinical services and programs
Refine policies and procedures locally for improvement of patient flow and safety
Ensure patient safety program goals are consistently executed.

Requirements:

Current license to practice as a registered nurse
Bachelor degree in nursing strongly preferred
Advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years nursing experience
5 years management experience preferred
Ability to independently manage and lead projects in a timely manner with minimal supervision, and ability to prioritize and effectively navigate multiple competing priorities
Demonstrated skill in problem solving, critical thinking, conflict resolution, and exceptional communication skills
A flexible and positive attitude
High emotional intelligence as evidenced by ability to evaluate/perceive a situation from multiple lenses and understand various perspectives in coming to problem resolution
Travel Required
US work authorization.
