Job Responsibility:
Oversee the daily operations of the unit, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including state and federal laws, and Premier Washington Health Center's policies and procedures
Develop and implement unit-specific policies and procedures to improve patient care and satisfaction
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement facility-wide policies and procedures
Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, including orientation, training, and performance evaluations
Foster a positive and respectful work environment that promotes teamwork and open communication
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
Develop and manage the unit budget, including labor and non-labor expenses
Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
Requirements:
1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a minimum of 1 year of leadership experience preferred
Current RN or LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and staff
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
