Job Description:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating comprehensive care for assigned patients, ensuring the delivery of individualized and age-appropriate care. This role requires assessing patient status, interpreting clinical data, and addressing unique care requirements in alignment with established policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate total patient care, delivering individualized care based on patient needs
  • Assess and interpret data reflective of patient status to provide age-specific, evidence-based care
  • Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan
  • Embody the Mission and Core Values of St. Bernardine Medical Center through professional conduct and high-quality care delivery
  • Actively support the hospital’s strategic plan and participate in quality improvement and process enhancement initiatives

Requirements:

  • One year RN experience in an acute care Maternal Child setting required
  • Current California Registered Nurse License
  • Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support- within first six months of employment into the position
  • Neonatal Resuscitation- within first six months of employment into the position
  • Basic Arrhythmia- within first six months of employment
  • Basic Fetal Monitoring within first six months of employment
