Rn - Inpatient

Being a RN - INPATIENT, at UNM Hospital offers opportunities for professional growth through specialized training and a Clinical Advancement Program, the ability to work at New Mexico's only Level 1 Trauma Center, and involvement in a supportive academic medical center environment with a diverse patient population from throughout the State and from surrounding states. Many of the services provided at UNMH are the only services available in the state. We work in a busy, fast paced environment with students from many disciplines. This clinic is where patients come before surgery so our team can evaluate their health, identify risks, and make sure they’re fully prepared for anesthesia. Our work directly impacts patient safety, surgical flow, and day‑of‑surgery success. We help prevent delays, optimize medical conditions, and educate patients so they feel confident walking into the OR.
