Job Description

As our Inpatient Rehab Nurse at St. Francis Medical Center, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, your ultimate goal is restoring your patients’ health, so they have the ability to care for themselves. Along with physicians and other members of your rehab team, you will go along on the patients’ journey, providing care and education so they can resume their lives at home with their families.

Job Responsibility

  • Carefully monitor patients for changes in neurological status or other conditions
  • Prepare patients for various speech, physical, occupational or respiratory therapies they have scheduled each day
  • Educate the patient and caregivers on how to continue certain care at home

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Active RN license in the state of Nebraska or nurse licensure compact
  • Basic Life Support(BLS) through American Heart Association
