The Float Pool RN provides flexible staffing support across various units within the hospital, delivering high-quality patient care while adapting to diverse patient populations and clinical settings. The RN utilizes strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and communication to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. This role offers a unique opportunity to broaden nursing experience and contribute to the overall efficiency of the healthcare team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Performs comprehensive patient assessments and develops individualized care plans.
  • Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Maintains current RN licensure and required certifications.

  • Adheres to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Current WA State RN license is required.
  • 1 or more years recent RN experience with acute care patients.
  • CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
  • Quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
