Job Description:

Reports to the Director of Surgical Services. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation and documentation of surgical patients. Overall responsibility is for the nursing care of patients and for maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal outcomes, including supervision of OR Technicians.

Requirements:

  • Current California Registered Nurse license
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program
  • Current approved health care provider CPR certification - BLS within 30 days of employment
  • Current ACLS or completion of ACLS course within 30 days of employment
  • PALS certification within 30 days of employment
  • Nursing Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation of Patient Care Satisfied CBO/Annual, Competency Valuation, Program Requirements
  • Quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire

Nice to have:

  • 1-2 years OR nursing acute care facility
