Job Responsibility:
Ensures that the patient is properly introduced to the unit and his/her surroundings within one hour after arrival to unit
Assesses the patient's admission status and documents this on admission form/critical care record within 2 hours of arrival to unit
Uses observational and interviewing skills to perform a priority patient assessment every shift
Makes rounds and documents patient's status on critical care record at least every two hours
Identifies abnormal diagnostic data
Utilizes standards of care to anticipate potential patient care problems
Requirements:
Bachelors Of Science Nursing BSN
1-3 years Critical Care experience
Registered Nurse: CA RN License
Basic Life Support - CPR BLS, within 30 Days
Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS, within 30 Days
Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS, within 30 Days
