Job Description:

Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - Centennial as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. Our ICU is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients, with a focus on learning, mentoring, and building every team member. Patient Population: Nephrology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Geriatrics, Surgical, Medical, Cardiology, pulmonology, Trauma and Gastrointestinal. Patient Ratios: 1:2. Number of Beds: 12. Department Specifics: We are a small but mighty generalized ICU with training in specialty devices such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Impella and CRRT. This is a highly engaged team with a focus on high quality patient care and process improvement. The team has a robust shared governance with decision-making opportunities that leads to department process improvements and multidisciplinary collaboration. The hospital is Level III trauma, primary stroke center, and a primary heart attack center.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
  • RN – Registered Nurse
  • BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
  • 2 Years of Experience

Nice to have:

RN candidates with Med Surg ICU experience preferred
