GI Lab Unit Description: At Longmont United Hospital, the Preop, PACU, GI, and Infusion departments are co-located, fostering a highly collaborative and team-oriented culture. Staff members often take on multiple responsibilities while specializing in one area, offering opportunities for diverse experience. Our Endoscopy unit features two suites, performing an average of 170 procedures monthly running five days a week. Outpatient Infusion services manage 5-15 patients daily. We have six operating rooms, handling approximately 175 surgeries per month, including general, orthopedic, opthalmologic, urologic, ENT, and plastic surgeries, with robotic assistance. Our mission is to deliver exceptional surgical care with respect and compassion. We cultivate a warm, open environment, encouraging all team members to actively participate in departmental decision-making.
