Job Responsibility

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care that supports patients' well-being and recovery
Leverage expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans
Collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team
Perform assessment/data collection in an ongoing systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and cognitive status
Formulate a goal-directed plan of care that is prioritized and based on determined nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes
Implement care in a thorough, skillful, and consistent manner
Establish priorities for patient care based on essential patient needs and available unit resources of time, personnel, equipment, and supplies
Evaluate the effectiveness of care given by health care team members
Effectively communicate with patients, staff, and providers

Two (2) years of general RN care experience
Associate degree of Nursing
Valid compact state or Arizona RN license
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider
American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support if floating to the Emergency Department or taking care of patients less than 8 years of age
Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing the EKG test or completing basic EKG class/modules within six (6) months of position
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within 12 months, or
Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) within 12 months, or
Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) within 12 months, or
Transport Nurse Advanced Trauma Course (TNATC) within 12 months

Two (2) years of medical/surgical, progressive care, critical care experience or emergency department care experience
Bachelor's degree of Nursing
