Requirements
Two (2) years of general RN care experience
Associate degree of Nursing
Valid compact state or Arizona RN license
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider
American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support if floating to the Emergency Department or taking care of patients less than 8 years of age
Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing the EKG test or completing basic EKG class/modules within six (6) months of position
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within 12 months, or
Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) within 12 months, or
Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) within 12 months, or
Transport Nurse Advanced Trauma Course (TNATC) within 12 months
Nice to have
Two (2) years of medical/surgical, progressive care, critical care experience or emergency department care experience
Bachelor's degree of Nursing
