Job Description:

Then your next adventure is here! This position floats to 2 levels of care in 1-2 facilities and is paid a 15% differential (of the base hourly rate).

Job Responsibility:

  • Performs assessment/data collection in an on-going systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive status
  • also nutrition, pain, patient/family education, family involvement and patient advocacy
  • Formulates a goal-directed plan of care that is prioritized and based on determined nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes
  • Implements care in a thorough, skillful and consistent manner
  • Establishes priorities for patient care based on essential patient needs and available unit resources of time, personnel, equipment, and supplies
  • Evaluates effectiveness of care given by health care team members
  • Effectively communicate with patients, staff and providers

Requirements:

  • Two years of general RN care experience
  • Associate degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
  • Valid compact state or Arizona RN license
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider
  • American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support if floating to Emergency Department or taking care of patients less than 8 years of age
  • Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing EKG test or successfully completing basic EKG class/modules within six months of position

Nice to have:

  • Two years of medical/surgical, progressive care or critical care experience
  • Bachelor degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
