Job Description:

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. Job Responsibility:

  • Adheres to department and hospital policies and procedures
  • Administers medications as ordered
  • Assesses patient physical, psychosocial, cultural, behavioral/emotional, developmental and spiritual needs
  • Implements patient interventions and evaluates outcomes
  • Plans care based on needs identified
  • Provides holistic, comprehensive, and professional nursing care
  • Prepares patient for discharge and assists with coordinating post discharge needs
  • Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and competence
  • Demonstrates competent professional practice and engages in professional growth
  • Documents care delivered and patient status
  • Receives and assures appropriateness of physician orders

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Registered Nurse license in WA
  • Basic Life Support - CPR certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 60 Days
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 12 months OR Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course within 12 months
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course certification within 12 months

Nice to have:

  • Bachelors Of Science in Nursing
  • One year of related work experience in an acute care setting
  • Previous E.D. experience current within the last 2 years
  • Critical care experience current within the last 2 years
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
  • Certified Emergency Nurse certification
