You’ll begin each shift by taking report from a nursing teammate before making your rounds. You’ll provide continued care and perform procedures as detailed in the care plan. As the experts on the front line of patient care, our nurses provide input and insight in creating change, improving the process, and reshaping the way our patient care is delivered.
Job Responsibility:
Quickly assess and prioritize care based on trauma for all patient populations
Stabilize patients needing emergency care
Work with an experienced, supportive team of emergency professionals including emergency physicians, other emergency-trained nurses, licensed radiologists, and certified laboratory technologists
Demonstrate a passion for excellence in emergency medicine
Requirements:
Current WA State RN license is required
Recent RN experience with acute care patients
CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work
Other certifications may be required for specialty areas
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing
This location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire
