Job Description

As our Inpatient Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, skilled nursing services to patients requiring hospitalization, guiding them toward optimal health and functional recovery. Every day you will assess patient needs, administer medications, perform treatments, and continuously monitor patient conditions. You will collaborate seamlessly with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans, always preparing patients and their families for a successful discharge, whether to home or to another setting for continued care. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for every individual.

Job Responsibility

Requirements

  • Current WA State RN license
  • One (1) or more years recent RN experience with acute care patients
  • CPR certification is required every two (2) years or as specified by the work
  • Other certifications may be required for specialty areas
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing

Nice to have

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

  • Deliver care that meets the psychosocial, physical, and general needs of patients, determining priorities based on individual conditions and factors that influence patient flow
  • Communicate effectively with ED physicians regarding changes in status, symptoms, and diagnostic results, and respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response
  • Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, consult with other specialists as required, and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care
  • Perform a head-to-toe assessment on all patients and reassess as per policy, includes neonate/pediatric/adolescent/geriatric patients/and the general patient population
  • Ability to assess/reassess pain/and pain management, vital signs and patient progress and educates patient/family regarding pain management
  • Ability to monitor hemodynamic status of patient, and correctly interpret the results
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac monitoring
  • identify dysrhythmias and treats appropriately, and accurately assigns triage categories
