Job Responsibility

Providing quality home health and hospice services to the community
Developing and marketing new programs
Developing departmental budget
Maintaining a positive fiscal stature by ensuring maximum reimbursement from Medi-Cal, Medicare, and third-party payors
Strategic and tactical planning
Operation and integration of the assigned region-wide services
Collaborates with other Directors and Supervisors to support the hospital's role as a community health service provider
Ensures departmental compliance with all applicable local, state, federal and The Joint Commission requirements
Ensures that performance and quality standards are in place and continuously monitors this performance
Ensures the provision of quality services through the selection and development of staff
