Job Description:

As our Dialysis Nurse, you will provide specialized, compassionate nursing care for patients undergoing various dialysis treatments, ensuring their safety and optimal clinical outcomes.Every day you will assess patient conditions, proficiently initiate and monitor dialysis treatments, educate patients on their disease and treatment plan, meticulously manage vascular access, and ensure strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols.To be successful in this role you will combine a strong clinical background in dialysis with meticulous attention to detail, exceptional patient education skills, and the ability to manage complex care plans while advocating for our patient's well-being.

  • Apply clinical knowledge and expertise for coordinating patient care by regularly planning and evaluating the care of patients
  • Establish and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with other staff members, physicians, patients, patient family members, and the public as appropriate, while assuring confidentiality of all patient information
  • Demonstrate effective nursing judgement and a working knowledge of the nursing process
  • Provide guidance to interdisciplinary team members by supervising nursing interventions and assisting with related tasks
  • Provide leadership by establishing priorities and coordinating nursing care

Requirements:

  • Current and Active CA, Registered Nurse
  • AHA Basic Life Support /Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • Fire Safety, within 90 Days
  • Minimum 1 year RN experience in a chronic hemodialysis clinic or acute dialysis service

Nice to have:

  • Experience with EHR (Cerner, MediTech, etc)
  • Certified Dialysis Nurse (CND) Preferred
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) Preferred
