Job Responsibility:
Collect health data in a systematic and ongoing manner
Analyze assessment data in determining diagnoses
Develop, implement, evaluate and revise patient plan of care
Identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient
Implement interventions in the plan of care
Provide nursing care to meet physical, emotional, spiritual, and social-cultural needs
Evaluate patient’s progress toward attainment of outcomes
Document observations and interventions
Evaluate quality and effectiveness of care plan
Evaluate own nursing practice
Integrate ethical principles
Collaborate with others
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team
Develop and evaluate standards of care
Participate in evidence-based research
Consider safety, effectiveness, and cost
Requirements:
All Diploma and ADN hires must Complete a BSN within 60 months of hire OR have 5 or more years of Registered Nurse experience (including direct patient care or indirect RN roles) at the time of hire
Associates or Diploma in Nursing
>10 months med-surg or acute specialty setting
1 year RN experience for all Float Positions
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Registered Nurse (RN) State And/or Compact State Licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Arizona Upon Hire
Nice to have:
Bachelors in nursing (BSN)
National certification for unit specific patient population
