Provides nursing care according to the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementing and evaluating. Implements appropriate nursing care interventions. Administers medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established nursing nursing policies and procedures. Care provided is based on defined standards of patient care and nursing evidence-based practice.

Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures

Utilizes resources appropriately and follows facility guidelines
Assigns or delegates tasks to designated support personnel
Collaborates with new employees and peers to support orientation, training and development opportunities
Caring for patients admitted to our heart and vascular intensive care unit
Collaborating with cardiologists, EKG techs, echo techs, and others
Assess and interpret hemodynamic parameters and communicate any changes in vitals
You’ll be a trusted educator and resource for your patients’ recovery and prevention of reoccurring issues
Requirements:
Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited school of nursing
Current RN license in the State of Kentucky
Basic Life Support (BLS) via the American Heart Association (AHA)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) via the American Heart Association (AHA) within 3 months of hire
Nice to have:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Previous nursing experience in Telemetry, Cardiac, Emergency or Critical Care service lines
