RN Circulator

• The Surgery Registered Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect provisions of professional nursing care of the patients in the surgical suite and peri-anesthesia areas
• accountable for the patient's ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of all of the components of care delivered to patients within the peri-operative/recovery environments utilizing the nursing process
• monitor, aid and direct the activities of the surgical staff during the procedures
• maintain continuous communication with the surgeon, anesthetist and team
• demonstrate knowledge of the necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment needed during the procedures
• have thorough knowledge of the instrument processing, sterilization, biological monitoring and will actively participate in these processes
• share on call duties

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Current RN license
• BLS certified
• Surgery circulating experience preferred, but not required
• Has organizational and multi-tasking skills
