Job Responsibility

  • Coordinates provision of care across the continuum for pediatric patients with a hematology and/or oncology diagnosis
  • Advocates for the patient and family through triage, education, and navigation of insurance authorization requirements
  • Identifies, accesses, and allocates resources to meet the goals of care, as identified by the multidisciplinary team, in partnership with the patient and family

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 years of experience
  • California RN License
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by American Heart Association
  • Must qualify for California Children's Services (CCS) Paneling
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to manage large call volumes and triage patient care needs appropriately
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with hematology and/or oncology diagnoses
