Job Description

As a Clinical Nurse, you will be a central figure in our patient care team, delivering exceptional, compassionate care that truly makes a difference in our patients' lives.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate on comprehensive screenings
  • Conduct critical risk assessments
  • Provide vital preventative health education
  • Expertly coordinate care for diverse patient populations

  • Guide them through instructions and addressing their concerns
  • Is a role model for the hospital's Patient Satisfaction effort
  • Demonstrates, supports and promotes strict adherence to the policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates knowledge regarding the cardiac and peripheral vascular disease processes and the appropriate diagnostic and interventional processes
  • Demonstrates knowledge of pharmacology including dosing, indications and contraindications of each drug
  • Demonstrates proficiency in the use of all specialized equipment related to the Cath Lab
  • Verified physician orders and reviews the patient's clinical record for consents, history and physical, NPO status, and allergies prior to the initiation of any procedure

Requirements

  • Experience as a special procedures RN
  • This candidate will be able to scrub and circulate cases in the cath lab setting
  • This position will have a call requirement of weekends in rotation
  • California Registered Nurse license, upon hire
  • 1-3 years 12 months consecutive experience within ICU and/or ER or CCL and/or Surgical Services is required., upon hire
  • Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire

Nice to have

1-3 years 24 months consecutive experience within ICU and/or ER or CCL and/or Surgical Services is recommended., upon hire
