We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team of healthcare professionals. Job Responsibility:

  • Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, including orientation and training programs
  • Coordinate and participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
  • Participate in budget development and management to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including staffing patterns, patient data, and nursing outcomes

Requirements:

  • Current New York State RN licensure
  • 2+ years of experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
