Job Description

Advinia Healthcare are looking for a passionate and experienced Clinical Lead (RMN) to join the team at Kingsway Care Home, our welcoming 42-bed care home in Durham. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to take on a pivotal leadership role within the home, supporting the delivery of outstanding clinical care and helping drive positive outcomes for our residents. Working closely with the Home Manager, you will lead and inspire a committed team of Nurses and Carers, ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care are delivered every day.

Job Responsibility

  • Leading, supporting and motivating a dedicated clinical and care team
  • Ensuring high standards of clinical care are maintained throughout the home
  • Reviewing and monitoring care plans, risk assessments and medication administration
  • Ensuring all assessment tools are fully completed and effectively utilised
  • Completing comprehensive pre-admission assessments and annual resident reassessments
  • Supporting the efficient deployment of staff and assisting with rota management
  • Monitoring staff hours and authorising timesheets in the absence of the Home Manager
  • Building positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals
  • Supporting staff development through induction, mandatory training and ongoing learning
  • Working alongside the Home Manager to implement action plans from regulators and internal audits
  • Playing a key role within the management team to continuously improve resident outcomes and quality of care

Requirements

  • RMN qualification is essential
