The Registration Investigations Team (RIT) is responsible for managing and investigating all registration related concerns involving applications to join or rejoin the register, registration renewals, and the misuse of protected titles. This is an important role in helping the NMC ensure it fulfils its statutory obligation to protect the public and in maintaining the integrity of our register of nurses, midwives and nursing associates.
Job Responsibility:
Manage own investigation caseload with a mixed portfolio of regulatory concerns relating to Initial Applications, Readmissions, Revalidation, Restorations, Incorrect/Fraudulent Entry and Protection of Title workstreams
Gather and analyse information that will assist the Investigating Committee and the Assistant Registrar in their decision-making processes
Requirements:
Experience of working in an administrative environment with a strong focus on casework/caseload management
Excellent IT skills – outlook, adobe, word and experience of working with excel spreadsheets
Excellent written communication skills
Ability to prioritise, plan and organise own workload to meet deadlines
Analysing complex information with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work to own initiative and take ownership of own work
