Job Description:

As a Risk Settlement Senior Consultant you will be a key member in their 70-strong Risk Settlement Group, which has a uniquely diverse range of experts and specialist sub-teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Senior support or lead transaction adviser on a range of settlement transactions across the pension risk transfer market (including buy-ins, buy-outs, wind-ups, longevity swaps, and consolidation/capital solutions)
  • Take responsibility for the running of transactions, ensuring they are completed on time and on budget and lead relationships with transaction stakeholders
  • Help advise clients on their strategic ‘Journey to Settlement’, including preparation for approaching the settlement market and feasibility
  • Create relationships with external stakeholders such as trustees, sponsors and other transaction advisers to help develop settlement opportunities

Requirements:

  • Track record of delivery on settlement transactions
  • Wide industry experience coupled with sound technical capability
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to encourage and develop colleagues, and work well within diverse teams
