Job Description:

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Risk Reporting Senior Analyst for its New York, NY location. Responsibilities include developing dashboards, producing operational risk overviews, responding to client requests, enhancing system processes, delivering reporting, acquiring and ensuring quality data related to risk and regulatory processes, and training clients on dashboards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop business intelligence products such as dashboards in Tableau and produce and review monthly and quarterly Operational Risk Overview for senior management
  • Collaborate with Operational Risk Management and Technology to enhance system processes and implement automation that improves productivity
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from clients on Business as Usual (BAU) reports and dashboard related queries
  • Prepare dashboards and identify issues in the existing dashboard to deliver information needed for clients
  • Deliver scheduled and ad-hoc reporting for Operational Risk Management to identify and mitigate future operational losses through statistical analysis
  • Responsible for volume, quality, and timeliness of end results as well as shared responsibility for various products and processes with high visibility (CRO, CEO, Risk Management) in the non-financial space
  • Assist in centrally acquiring data related to risk and finance management and regulatory reporting processes while ensuring data quality
  • Train clients on the self-service dashboard and demonstrate views, drilldown capabilities and features.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation performing data analysis activities
  • Working with large datasets and extrapolating insights, interpreting complex financial models, and using data visualization and advanced analytics skills to evaluate the impact of different economic scenarios
  • Validating and documenting processes, risks and controls including methodologies in line with policies and guidelines applicable to identify and mitigate risks
  • Utilizing Microsoft Office including Excel and Data Visualization tools for generating metrics and data visualization, PowerPoint for presentation decks, and Word for writing and editing procedural and technical documentation
  • Performing deep-dive data analyses and end-to-end data flow tracing of the reporting process for both regulatory reports and internal management reports and identifying the root causes for data concerns and data quality issues.
