Job Description:

The Risk Reporting Officer at Citi is a strategic professional role responsible for simplifying reporting constructs, developing efficient dashboarding solutions, and driving strategic solutions across risk management teams. This role requires expertise in Tableau, Python, data architecture, as well as experience in working with senior business stakeholders and Market Risk data.

Job Responsibility:

  • Consolidate and simplify the reporting construct, provide efficient solutions while adhering to the timelines
  • Identify the right tool for a reporting vs dashboarding solution
  • Work with Technology to create a reporting data layer for building fast and efficient dashboards / reports
  • Comply by the ITeSS standards of development
  • Work comfortably in a controlled environment by following enterprise guidelines
  • Think out of the box and challenge status quo
  • Contributes to the analysis and preparation of reports for Internal Management, Regulators, Auditors, etc.
  • Provide strategic reporting solutions for Market Risk teams
  • Partner with IT and Business to drive standardized views across reporting and create scalable solutions
  • Conduct process reviews to ensure Reporting processes are efficient and lean
  • Understands larger themes across the firm in order to drive standardized views across reporting
  • Works with technology to ensure system enhancements are aligned with the needs of management reporting
  • Trains new team members in standard methodologies and tools
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, adhering to compliance and ethical standards

Requirements:

  • 10+ years BI experience preferred
  • Specialized skills on Tableau, Python, Data Architecture, Data warehouse
  • Experience in Dashboard Development, Advanced Python scripting, workflow development
  • Experience working with senior business stakeholders
  • Ability to influence and drive users to adopt strategic solutions
  • Experience with Market Risk data is added advantage
  • Experience with reporting using different BI tools and different databases
  • Understanding of SQL / query execution optimization is desirable
  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

  • Define and substantiate scope, identifying dependencies, and agreeing with stakeholders for Enterprise Data Use Case (UC) requirements
  • Document requirements for improving Retail Credit Risk, Wealth Risk, and Investment Risk data to support timely and effective Risk Management and Oversight
  • Lead the strategy, approach and automation of reporting, measurements, and analytics for all risk reports supporting the USPB and Wealth Risk CROs, Regulators, and Risk management
  • Work with the various project teams to ensure key milestones are achieved for each phase of the project including requirement documentation, UAT, production parallel and sustainability
  • Regularly and effectively communicate with senior stakeholders, both verbally and written, the strategic vision of target state risk management strategy, as well as progress of path to strong effort
  • Timely, quality, and compliant risk reporting, measurements, and analytics
