Ready to step into a high-impact risk role with a consumer goods conglomerate? This is a chance to join the start of a team build-out in a visible management role, shaping the risk culture and processes. You’ll work closely with finance, technology, controls, and audit teams to strengthen and improve processes and support large-scale business transformation in a fast-moving consumer goods environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Implement and maintain the risk management framework
  • Facilitate risk identification and assessment across business functions
  • Own and maintain the enterprise risk register
  • Monitor risk exposure and effectiveness of controls
  • Support risk appetite definition and track relevant metrics (KRIs)
  • Coordinate incident, issue, and control management processes

Requirements

  • 7-15 years’ experience in risk management, internal audit, or compliance
  • Practical experience implementing and operating risk frameworks (e.g. ISO / COSO)
  • Experience facilitating risk assessments and maintaining risk registers
  • Strong understanding of controls, mitigation strategies, and risk reporting
  • Ability to engage and challenge stakeholders across multiple business areas
  • Experience producing clear, actionable risk reports

  • Carry out sampling checks within the Business Unit to ensure adherence to policies and quality of decision making, highlighting any weaknesses to the Head of Risk and Head of Business Centre together with suggestions for improvements
  • Embed our controls and processes to monitor, report and minimise the impact of financial crime
  • Support BFS in compliance with the GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and other relevant Data Protection laws
