Job Description:

10-week summer internship program in Risk Management at Citi. Provides fundamental understanding of risk management, risk governance and risk best practices. Program includes foundational training sessions, professional development, mentorship from senior leaders, and placement on Risk teams such as Enterprise Risk Management, Market Risk, Model Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, US Personal Banking or Wealth Management.

Job Responsibility:

Work on challenging and impactful projects
Assess risk
Develop business acumen
Build upon leadership skills
Deepen knowledge in risk and financial services
Work closely with management teams
Add value to the risk organization and the firm

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a STEM or quantitative related major (graduating in December 2026 through June 2027)
Currently maintain a GPA of 3.3 or above
Interest in Risk Management
Creative problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity
Strategic and analytical mindset
Strong data analytical skills
Proficient in MS Office applications
Will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or anytime in the future

Nice to have:

Enjoy statistical analysis for projects and data/modeling validation
Solve problems through statistical and non-statistical data exploration
Identify data quality issues
Willing to reinforce the firm's Risk Management goals and objectives
Take initiative, ask questions, eager to learn, have a growth mindset, want to build leadership skills
