Baptist Health is hiring a Risk Management Coordinator to join our Risk Management team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time day shift opportunity. The Risk Management team plays a critical role in advancing patient safety, reducing organizational risk, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement across Baptist Health. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented healthcare professional with experience in risk management, patient safety, and regulatory compliance who is passionate about driving quality outcomes and supporting organizational excellence.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate department activities related to the Risk Management program across the organization
  • Facilitate and support Root Cause Analyses (RCA), Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEA), and Collaborative Culture of Safety initiatives
  • Investigate and report General Liability, Property, and other claims as assigned
  • Partner with Risk Managers and operational leaders to conduct risk assessments and implement loss prevention strategies
  • Analyze and trend occurrence data to identify opportunities for risk reduction and performance improvement
  • Research industry best practices and recommend process improvements to enhance patient safety and quality of care
  • Provide team member education and training in collaboration with Risk Managers
  • Manage and support special projects related to risk management, patient safety, and regulatory compliance
  • Participates in a variety of hospital and health system committees related to patient safety and risk management including PSIC, Environment of Care, Emergency Management and others as assigned
  • Coordinates the department activities of the Risk Management program to include Root Cause Analysis, Failure Mode Effects Analysis, and Collaborative Culture of Safety

Requirements

  • 3-5 Years Risk Management Experience
  • 3-5 Years Experience working in healthcare setting
  • Bachelor of Science (non-nursing)
  • Driver's License - DMV
  • Master's Degree in a related field (preferred)
