Job Description:

The Risk Data Delivery Lead is a senior management position to lead global initiatives in the Institutional Data Platform function, focusing on building world-class cross-market analytics solutions in Price Risk and Risk Data. This role involves collaboration with stakeholders, managing a global team, ensuring production stability, driving system architecture designs, and delivering innovative, consistent solutions while adhering to firm standards.

Job Responsibility:

Lead efforts in Institutional Data Platform (ICG) spanning multiple businesses, products, and functions
deliver Price Risk related data initiatives and GSIB-related capital reporting deliverables
develop relationships with global business stakeholders
manage risks and issues with collaboration across teams
adhere to project management standards
ensure transparency in project deliveries and communications
manage disaster recovery plans and testing
implement regulatory reporting requirements changes
hire and retain diverse talent
ensure production stability in all deliveries
improve scalability with cloud-based strategy
prepare and present team/project reviews
collaborate with Front Office Risk, Risk Managers, and Price Risk Business Stakeholders.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or engineering or related technical discipline
enterprise application development experience with full stack technologies
experience in Big Data Platforms and Public Cloud platforms
knowledge of Software development fundamentals, data structures, design patterns, object-oriented principles
experience in design and delivery of multi-tiered applications and high performance server-side components
skills in system performance tuning, high performance, low latency, multithreading
expertise in Java server-side programming
preferred experience handling high volumes of data
experience with In-memory databases and Caching solutions
demonstrated leadership, management, communication, and development skills
relevant Risk domain experience within Financial Services (Market/ Credit Risk).

Nice to have:

Experience in real-time data engineering platforms
experience building and leading global teams
architecture experience in Java or Scala, Microservices
experience in big-data ecosystem (Hadoop, Hive, Impala, NOSQL)
expertise in distributed computing technologies (Spark, Flink)
experience with messaging infrastructure (Kafka, Pulsar, RabbitMQ).
