Job Description:

Join AQA as a Risk Apprentice and help us maintain high standards across our operations. Over this two-year programme, you’ll work with our Risk and Compliance teams, learning about governance, regulation, and risk management. You will also work towards achieving the level 3 qualification: Compliance and risk officer.

Job Responsibility:

  • Rotate through three core areas: Risk Management, Compliance, and Assurance
  • Produce business reports
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses
  • Help draft policy documents and presentation materials
  • Support the implementation of AQA’s risk framework
  • Assist with reviews of operational practices
  • Support regulatory reporting
  • Help manage the resolution of regulatory queries
  • Support audit fieldwork and reporting
  • Track audit actions
  • Contribute to organisation-wide quality initiatives

Requirements:

  • At least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) including Maths and English
  • Detail-oriented
  • Analytical
  • Strong sense of integrity and responsibility
  • Interest in compliance and governance
  • Ability to produce high-quality written and analytical work
  • Ability quickly to understand and implement new requirements or processes
  • Ability to rapidly learn and apply methodologies and tools
