Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to safeguard IKEA co-workers, customers, visitors, and assets from preventable losses, injuries, or illnesses, and to enhance the working and shopping experience for everyone. It involves establishing a risk-aware culture within the Unit by actively evaluating and managing risks in collaboration with the functions and risk owners, and by fostering an understanding of IKEA’s desired level of Risk and Compliance.

Job Responsibility:

Support the Safety & Security function in store through monitoring and reviewing of CCTV and other security infrastructure
Meet and greet all persons entering the store and maintaining visitor, contractors and co-worker access to and from the store
Complete administrative tasks when required, such as compliance and auditing paperwork
Work directly with customers at times, for instance, where customers may have forgotten to scan items

Requirements:

Passion and experience in retail

Administrative duties

High standard of written and verbal communication skills
Interpersonal and methodological problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a self-directive environment to resolve problems
Ability to work in an environment with tight deadlines
