Job Description:

The Risk Analytics Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying, analysing, and mitigating operational risks across the business using data-driven insights. Working closely with internal stakeholders across departments such as Supply Chain, Digital, Stores, and Finance, you’ll develop and maintain dashboards, risk indicators, and reporting frameworks that enhance our ability to manage risk in a rapidly evolving retail environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the design and implementation of operational risk data analytics strategies
  • Develop and maintain key risk indicators (KRIs), dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor operational risks across the business
  • Partner with business units to identify emerging risks and provide insights through data
  • Conduct deep-dive risk analyses to uncover patterns, root causes, and trends
  • Support incident reporting and loss data management processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Collaborate with IT and Data teams to ensure appropriate data governance and accessibility
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the risk management framework, policies, and procedures
  • Provide training and support to teams across the business on using data to understand and manage operational risk

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in risk analytics, data analysis, or business intelligence within a retail, FMCG, or fast-paced consumer environment
  • Strong proficiency in data visualisation and analytics tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar)
  • Excellent understanding of operational risk concepts and frameworks
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets from varied sources
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into business-friendly language
  • Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach

Nice to have:

  • Experience in fashion retail or eCommerce
  • Knowledge of GRC systems or operational risk tools
