Job Description:

Cash Securities valuation analytics consultant within the enterprise-wide center of excellence group responsible for ensuring accurate valuations of and performing validation processes across all agency and non-agency Structured Products like RMBS, CMBS, ABS, CDO/CLO and non-structured products, including credit, equities, rates, municipals and loan products

Job Responsibility:

Participate in less complex analysis and modeling initiatives
Identify opportunity for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation improvements within Risk Management
Review and analyze programing models to extract data
Manipulate databases to provide statistical and financial modeling
Exercise independent judgment to guide new and existing projects with medium risk deliverables
Coordinate and consolidate the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports
Present recommendations for resolving data reconciliation, production, and database issues
Exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in policy governance, risk projects, and regulatory requests
Collaborate and consult with peers, managers, experienced managers, compliance, including various lines of business

Requirements:

2+ years of Risk Analytics experience or equivalent
Masters (MBA/M.Tech/M.Sc) in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics or Business
2+ years of experience on pricing and valuation techniques, IPV for cash products
Ability to understand the cash flow, pricing variables and market movements for structured product
Prior working experience of IPV of cash products
Understanding of securitized products (CMBS, RMBS)
Ability to understand the market dynamics and its impact on pricing variables
Strong MS Excel skills
Comprehension of any one general programming (R, Python, VBA, Sql, Tableau)
Bloomberg Experience (good to have)
Intellectually curious about capital markets and business
Strong desire to contribute to a team setting while recognizing the need to take ownership of processes
Resourceful, proactive problem-solving skills
Strong project management skills
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Nice to have:

Bloomberg Experience
Understanding of securitized products (CMBS, RMBS)
