Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Risk Analytics Associate to participate in low-risk initiatives, review process production and model documentation, analyze trends, and provide reports to management within the Risk Analytics function.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in low-risk initiatives within Risk Analytics
Review process production and model documentation in alignment with policy
Analyze trends in current population
Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to management
Conduct report-level and dashboard testing in alignment with quality assurance standards
Reconcile report outputs with authoritative data sources
Perform independent recalculations to validate accuracy of reported information
Review report content for compliance with quality control guidelines
Maintain communication with reporting team about updates and changes
Deliver comprehensive reporting of QA results

Requirements:

6+ months of Risk Analytics experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education
1–3 years of experience in Operational Risk or equivalent through professional experience, education, training, or military service
Proficiency in business intelligence and workflow tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and JIRA
Hands-on experience with SQL and Python for data analysis and automation
Strong technical aptitude with proven problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication skills, high initiative, and strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities
Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills
Ability to conduct reconciliation activities and effectively report findings
Results-oriented mindset with commitment to delivering high-quality work

Nice to have:

Experience in Operational Risk
Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, JIRA
Experience with SQL and Python
Strong problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Critical thinking and analytical abilities
