Job Description:

As a Haul Truck Driver, you’ll operate powerful, heavy quarry trucks in a fast-paced production environment. This role is essential to keeping materials moving safely and efficiently throughout our quarry operations. You’ll work 40–50 hours per week, with afternoon and Saturday shifts as required based on production needs. We are currently hiring for multiple positions based out of our Duntroon Quarry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Performing and documenting daily pre-operational inspections on assigned haul trucks
  • Completing general maintenance including greasing, fluid checks, and top-ups
  • Reporting repair needs to your Supervisor to ensure safe equipment operation
  • Operating equipment efficiently to reduce cycle times and minimize downtime
  • Following all company safety policies and procedures
  • Wearing required PPE at all times outside the operator station
  • Adhering to posted speed limits across quarry, pit, and construction sites

Requirements:

  • Experience operating 30–45 ton articulated rock trucks (Cat or Volvo preferred)
  • A valid G License in good standing
  • Surface Miner Common Core (considered an asset)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to assist with processing equipment or other mobile equipment as needed
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
